Tsukimotoya Ryokan - Toyooka (Hyogo)

Everything was simply great. I had a japanese-style room and it was wonderful with private outside bath. Every staff member was super-friendly and exceptionally nice. The location was incredible for me, near to the station.

I liked the staff, they are really helpful. The location is exceptionally nice and perfect with free parking available onsite. There is Creezan serving quick meals 5 mins walk from the hotel...

During our two-night stay, we enjoyed the centrally located ryokan that made it easy to explore the surrounding area. We appreciated the inclusion of free onsen passes, which added value to our experience, and the instruction on wearing yukata was a nice touch for a more authentic feel. The spacious Japanese-Style Room with Shared Bathroom felt welcoming and cozy after our outings, and the delicious traditional meals.

Dinner featured very nice kaiseki that was beautifully presented, a culinary experience I won't forget. Staff provided thoughtful service, including help with wearing yukata and traditional dining etiquette. Room offered a spacious layout and a nice table near the window for tea. I did notice some dust under the bed and on appliances, which slightly detracted from the stay. The shared bathroom got busy, especially during peak hours, but I managed to work around it. The atmosphere was tranquil.

The staff greeted me with kindness and were always ready to assist.

The atmosphere was serene, with attentive staff who offered great advice on local attractions. Meals were exquisite, especially the kaiseki dinner, and breakfast was a lovely touch, highlighted by fragrant tea each evening.

Some dust was noted under the furniture, and the shared bathing area got a bit busy during peak times.

This place was awesome! The hosts were super friendly. The kaiseki dinner was a feast we won't forget-so many dishes! The private onsen was a nice touch, relaxing after a long day. Only thing was the shared bathroom could get a bit busy sometimes.

Couldn't recommend more for a swift visit

Cute atmosphere, spacious room, with great attention to detail and a large closet space to comfortably store our belongings, complemented by excellent dining experiences with delicious meals served promptly and a gentle service, made us feel at home.

The ryokan offers excellent value with delicious half-board meals, helpful staff, and a convenient location near beautiful streets and a bath house. The baths are enjoyable for both Japanese and non-Japanese guests. The town of Kinosaki is charming and a great escape from city life. Proximity to onsens, restaurants, and eateries is a plus.
